Honey is a gift from nature full of goodness and all the essential minerals and vitamins necessary for life. Honey is the product of worker bees collecting nectar from flowers and is stored in the honeycomb of the hive . Bees feed off the honey in the hive, humans have had a taste for honey since the dawn of time.
We source our honey from the foothills of Western Transylvania where the bees have a diverse and rich diet, free from pesticides and intensive farming methods. It's pure, it's nutrient rich and it tastes utterly delicious.
There are many different types of honey depending on the local bee ecology and the processing techniques. Our honey is classed as 'raw honey' which means it is taken directly form the comb and has not been heated or processed in any way, thereby retaining all the nutrients and all the goodness.
The honey is harvested by traditional beekeepers who work in a sustainable way and are dedicated to preserving this precious commodity. By supporting this ethical and sustainable trade you are helping to protect this environment and the future of our honeybees.
