Long overlooked as an unsightly weed, dandelions are actually very important in the wildflower habitat for a whole range of garden wildlife. They are packed with nectar and pollen, making them the perfect food source for bumblebees, solitary bees and honeybees, amongst other bugs and beetles. You can read more here by The Guardian.
Please don’t pick them and let them grow for the bees!
