The Hyacinth design that I did for the homeware mug and placemat was so popular with its pretty mellow yellow, that we decided to launch a Hyacinth fragrance in our Bee Garden Home Fragrance Collection . I draw most weeks, usually taking flowers in season from the garden and building up a collection of drawings in my sketchbook. That means when we start planning a new range we have plenty of ideas to work from.
We spend months playing around with colours and fragrances getting the perfect match and this year’s Hyacinth introduces a pretty vibrant yellow into the bee garden collection.
Its so satisfying seeing the designs come together as its a long process – from drawing to stocking the shelves its taken over a year to bring the Hyacinth to life!
